China Household Electrical Appliances Association held a discussion meeting On July 3, 2019 about the " National Electric Toothbrush" standard in Guangzhou. Zhu Jun, secretary-general of the association, and representatives of well-known electric toothbrush companies such as Philips, P&G, Panasonic and Shanghai Shift Electrics Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

The meeting further discussed the preliminary draft of the "Electric Toothbrush" national standard and the feedback opinions discussed in the early stage, and sorted out the performance indicators involved in the standard to ensure the quality and level of the standard. This discussion meeting is of great significance to the entire electric toothbrush industry. The formulation of the standard is conducive to regulating the market order of the industry, bringing positive impact to the industry, and can improve the "toothbrushing quality" of users.

It also provided a very valuable reference plan for the revision of the first draft of the "Electric Toothbrush" standard.

The standard defines various concepts and performances of the product, which will help consumers recognize and purchase electric toothbrushes. It will help to standardize the production and market behavior of enterprises, enhance consumers' understanding of products, and promote the healthy development of the electric toothbrush industry.
